Philosophy and Approach
Dr. Aijian’s practice emphasizes personalized care, informed consent, and patient autonomy. He educates patients on their health, treatments, and medications, including vaccines, ensuring they understand the risks and benefits. His holistic approach integrates diet, exercise, weight management, and spiritual well-being. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Aijian, his staff and his wife Carolyn compassionately cared for hundreds of patients, with no lives lost under their care. Our office remained open after only one week of the stay at home mandate. Guided by his faith, Dr. Aijian upholds the sanctity of life and adheres to the Hippocratic Oath, opting not to participate in medically supervised suicide. He does, however, refer people at the end of life to Hospice, and counsels them as they face this final transition.
Professional Affiliations
Dr. Aijian is president of the Santa Barbara Select Independent Physician Association, a member of the Christian Medical Dental Association and the Independent Medical Alliance. He works alongside Maria Baggao, an experienced Nurse Practitioner, who shares his commitment to compassionate, comprehensive care.

Outside the office, Dr. Aijian and Carolyn manage their ranch, tending to farm animals and 1,000 avocado trees. He enjoys woodworking, hosting ranch events, and spending time with his four adult children and grandchildren.
